An employee can own day-to-day marketing. We step in for focused strategy, production, web work, or ongoing support. These figures show common budget categories; they are not a one-to-one comparison.
Derived by treating the median wage as 69.9% of total compensation, matching the March 2026 private-industry BLS average. This combines two different datasets and is only directional.

A $750 starting point
Need content and a plan?
See The Fresh Start.
For $750, we plan and produce a two-to-four-hour photo and/or video session, edit the agreed content, and give you a practical marketing plan. The package is intentionally smaller than a custom commercial production.

Know what the number means.
01Is the estimator result a formal quote?
No. It is a non-binding planning range based on FMP’s current rate card. A written proposal follows a consultation and confirms the brief, deliverables, schedule, locations, usage, third-party costs, and applicable taxes.
02Why do some services show a range instead of one price?
A range accounts for real differences in page count, production complexity, locations, post-production, integrations, usage, and campaign scope. We narrow it after we understand the work.
03Why is The Fresh Start $750 when a standard half-day begins at $2,100?
The Fresh Start is a deliberately contained first-project package for new and early-stage businesses. It combines one focused priority, a two-to-four-hour capture session, a tailored deliverable mix, and a practical plan. A standard half-day is a production baseline for custom commercial scopes and does not carry the same constraints.
04Are travel and advertising costs included?
The calculator includes the rate-card mileage allowance for content locations beyond 50 one-way miles. Tolls, parking, permits, accommodations, advertising media spend, and other third-party expenses remain separate and are confirmed before work begins.
05Is hiring an employee the same as working with FMP?
No. An employee can own day-to-day marketing operations across the business. FMP concentrates strategy, production, and specialized execution around an agreed project or fractional scope. The comparison section is context for budgeting, not a claim that the two models are interchangeable.
06Does the estimator collect my information?
Your selections stay on your device until you choose “Email My Estimate and Choose a Time.” That optional form emails us your name, email, optional phone number, business details, project note, and current estimate before opening Google scheduling. We do not create an account or save the submission in a first-party lead database.
07How is the travel distance calculated?
For content projects, you can enter the session address or explicitly allow the browser to use your current location. Google Routes returns an approximate one-way driving distance from FMP’s private travel origin. The site does not send the address or coordinates to analytics, and you can adjust the mileage manually.
